Playing from a downslope

Playing from a downslope

Along with the rather pesky 50 yard bunker shot, this can be a pretty challenging shot.

It can difficult to get a clean strike on the ball with the tendency being to catch the ground first and mis-hit the shot completely.  The important thing to remember when playing from a down slope is to let your body lean with the slope.  Don't lean back as this will make it even harder to get the required strike.

Allow for the shot to come out low with plenty of run but above all else, align your body with the slope and swinf down and through.
